Meet Tarim, from Media Playgrounds who is helping me with the Projection Hero installation:
He’s pictured with a working prototype of the motor that will open the curtains (currently winding up a roll of duct tape attached to a cotton spool), dim LED lights and trigger video, all of which will be controlled from within the Curzon Memories App, using the internet and an Arduino circuit board.
We’re also working on a digital Pepper’s Ghost installation which will recreate the childhood memory of Jean Thomson rushing to get her favourite seat on the balcony – more of which later.
